IAF/IGF Separator

(Induced Air/ Gas Flotation)

Product / IAF/IGF Separator
  •    Eductor Type

  • KSA, Yanpet, BMP Project

  • Eductor Type is a water treatment process that clarifies waste water (or other waters) by the removal of suspended matter* such as oil or solids.
The removal is achieved by injecting gas bubbles into the water or wastewater in a flotation tank or basin.
The small bubbles adhere to the suspended matter causing the suspended matter to float to the surface of the water where it may then be removed by a skimming device.
It is very widely used in treating the industrial wastewater effluent from oil refineries, petrochemical and chemical plants, natural gas processing plants and similar industrial facilities.

  •    Rotor Type

  • Mechanical-type uses motor-driven rotor (impeller) to induce air/ gas from the vapor phase in the top of the vessel directly into water phase.
The impeller diameter speed influence the oil removal performance as both relate to the liquid circulation rate, gas induction rate and the required power. The air/ gas transfer rate is at least 70% more than hydraulic-type units.
